This follows on from the Bible study we had elsewhere in the country on Monday evening, when we were discussing the deaths of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5. As one of the group pointed out, Scripture tells us that Satan is the father of all lies. We ought to have spent some time also looking at Jesus’ claims about Himself, His exclusivity, His being One with the Father, His being the Bread of Life and His being the Living Water. All of these claims are a stumbling block to all who do not believe, but so fundamental to the Christian faith.
Thanks, Fred, good comment.
