“Racing Certainty” — something guaranteed to happen. If insiders did bet on Justin Welby’s appointment, they defrauded the bookies by betting on a racing certainty.
Another “racing certainty” — when doctrinal corruption takes a church, moral corruption follows, for without truth, there is no sanctification. Where there is no purity of truth, there will be no purity of life.

“Holy and without blemish”? Even with all of its problems, I never thought I’d read THIS about the Church of England.
Of course, it is likely enough, my friends, likely enough that we are going to our doom: the last march of the Ents. But if we stayed at home and did nothing, doom would find us anyway, sooner or later. That thought has long been growing in our hearts; and that is why we are marching now. Earlier this week, I posted about the BBC’s involvement in recent scandals, and their transparent attempts to change the subject (Quick! Talk About Something Different!) from their own scandals.
Today, it got worse — much, much worse.
