    Hey Jon,
I read the article. That is pretty disturbing really; shouldn’t Christ be viewed as the head of the Church (not just of England, but the world)? It seems arrogant to think that just because someone is fit to lead in political matters that they are also fit to lead in spiritual matters. Being elected (Or born into) a place of political leadership does not equate to a spiritual calling and equipping by God to lead His people into a place of growth and maturity. Too much is at stake to gamble on poor moral integrity in leading people in spiritual matters. Any power that the wrong person has is dangerous at best when it comes to leading God’s people in eternal matters.

    Your Friend,
    Larry

Hi, Larry. The disturbing thing to me is that many people in Britain never even think about it. It’s always been that way, so they just accept it. This is not the only problem with the Church of England, it isn’t even the biggest one, but any deviation from Scripture does damage.
