I totally get why he asked, but she said yes?  This younger generation is so lacking in sense.  (They are so happy to have people talking about this right now that I can get away with ALL KINDS of comments! :))

So, the question is, does this mean we’re losing a son (“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife” — Genesis 2:24), or gaining a daughter (“Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter….” — Ruth 3:1)?  I guess both. 🙂
